Mrs. Manjula Kishore discovered Misty Garden Weldscape through a Google search while looking for experts in Terrace Makeovers in Bangalore. She wanted to transform her terrace at Godrej County Villas, Nagasandra, into a modern, beautiful and functional space for family gatherings, relaxation, parties, and celebrations. With an urgent requirement for the makeover, she trusted our team to bring her vision to life within a short timeline.
Design Planning and Material Selection for the Terrace Makeover
Our master fabricator, Mr. Sulthan, visited the site to understand the client’s vision and specific requirements in detail. After a thorough discussion, he proposed a well-curated Terrace Makeover plan featuring a Toughened Glass Pergola, Wooden Tiles for Flooring, Wicker Wire Seaters, and UPVC Sliding Doors and Windows — perfectly blending functionality with modern aesthetics creating a terrace design that is both stylish and practical.
After the site visit and a detailed discussion with our design team, a 3D design proposal featuring a sleek Glass Pergola and UPVC Windows was presented to the client. Further conversations with Ms. Smitha focused on evaluating the proposed design and materials, carefully considering factors such as weather conditions, durability, and overall aesthetics to ensure the best outcome after execution the design was changed accordingly.
Redesign and Finalization as per Client Requirements
Since the client wanted to enjoy the terrace even during the afternoons, the roofing option was modified from a Toughened Glass Pergola to Shingles for better comfort. Initially, UPVC doors and windows were considered, but they would have made the terrace look like another enclosed room, which was not the intention.
The client later decided to keep the space open and airy with a touch of greenery. This modern terrace design was redesigned and finalized after close consultation with the client to ensure clarity on the final look before execution.
Seamless Execution and Stunning Transformation Within 10 Days
After finalizing and approving the design, the client requested completion within 10 days, as she had planned a family gathering soon after. Our team executed the project seamlessly following the approved design plan.
The complete terrace makeover featured a one-side sloped Shingles Pergola for roofing, Artificial Grass with Drain Cells for efficient flooring, and an Artificial Vertical Garden to enhance the wall aesthetics. To add charm and vibrancy, hanging pots with artificial flowering creepers were incorporated. The setup was complemented with comfortable wicker wire seaters, tables, and a swing, while PVC blinds were installed to provide an added layer of privacy.
