Green Touch For a Resto-Pub- Inspires Every Visit

The popularity of bar-cum-pub combinations speaks to a desire for more casual dining experiences, where people can enjoy flavourful meals and cocktails together, making every outing a fun and social event

Developing the interiors for the resto pub according to the taste & the trend is on one side but incorporating plants into a resto pub can significantly enhance the atmosphere and overall dining experience.

With this objective, one of our client Mr. Ravi has approached us to develop a greenery theme for their newly renovated resto bar at JP Nagar 1^st phase, Bangalore. It was challenging for the team of Misty Garden Weldscape to give the plantation plan as the place was not as usual as assumed. The resto pub was at 4^th floor & extending the building the client extended the metal structures to keep the potted plants while maximizing the use of space. Additionally, the width of the metal structure was not same all along the resto bar so it was difficult for us to customise the FRP pots according to the dimension of the structure as client was very specific that there should be any gap between the pots. Somehow the 1^st step of visiting the site & taking the measurement for the FRP pots was done successfully.

The 2^nd step was to suggest the plants according to the pot size, sunlight availability & also for the place aesthetics was another tough task. So, plantation was planned from the Horticulture team & according to the requirements plants were planned with the combination of semishade foliage plants, semishade flowering plants, variegated coloured leaves, air purifying plants, bonsai, cactus & succulents & the procurement was done accordingly.

Execution was planned for the same, with high quality growing media which is a combination of cocopeat, vermicompost, red soil, perlite & nutrients as these ornamental plants need moisture holding & nutrient rich soil. Care like drain holes for the pots, geotextile to avoid soil spillage was taken a prime importance.

Furthermore, some potted plants were also planned for entrance area, reception area, bar counter & parking space to make space livelier.

Watering was one major thing which makes plants thrive as they are live plants, we planned for automated drip system which client can manage with bluetooth connection.

It was a wonderful experience working with the clients with similar passion & looking at our works clients has also given the landscape revamping project at their residence too
